1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including name, email, company details, and shipment information. When you request an instant rate, submit a quote enquiry, or contact our live chat, we also collect the email address and WhatsApp or phone number you choose to provide, together with the shipment details behind that request. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not record personal data, session content, or keystrokes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process bookings, communicate about shipments, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.

Contact details submitted with a rate or quote enquiry (email address and WhatsApp or phone number) are used solely to prepare and deliver your shipping quote and to provide logistics support for that shipment. They are not sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes, and they are not added to a marketing mailing list without your separate consent. We retain them only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking.

3. Information Sharing

We share the contact details and pickup/delivery addresses needed to move your goods with the shipping carriers and freight partners fulfilling that booking. VCANFreight does not collect card details and does not take payment in the app or on this website: quotes are confirmed by email and invoices are settled outside the platform. Beyond the carriers handling your shipment, we share information only as required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising, marketing, or data-broker purposes.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit for every request the app makes - sign-in, bookings, and document uploads alike.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@vcanfreight.com to exercise these rights.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile, bookings and uploaded documents, except for invoice and payment records that tax and accounting law requires us to retain. You can delete your account from the app (More tab) or at vcanfreight.com/account-deletion.

7. Children

VCANFreight is a business logistics service intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or in the law. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date shown at the top of this page always indicates the current version.
